"Emoji are the most widely used pictographic system in history. Over five billion people communicate daily using a shared set of symbols that did not exist three decades ago."

I study these symbols. I track how the same glyph shifts between encouragement, irony, and aggression depending on platform, culture, and age.

Amoji is built on one idea: the simpler the expression, the more the human gets to process.
